The Projects Page
The Projects Page is a collection of projects I am in process of or have completed for PPG building or repair. Examples would be like frame repair or propeller repair, building my own frame, etc. Projects may include machining, electronics, composites or many other processes and ideas that I have made or tried out that are ppg related. Hopefully you may find an idea here or give one of these projects a try for yourself.
Included here are some of the special tools I have made or fabricated
versus purchasing
tools to repair and fix my PPG unit. These are not your common tools
that you can go to your local hardware store and just buy, these are
special tools that you have to buy directly from the manufacture or a
specialized reseller which can be expensive.
Before I get started with some of
the tools I have made and how I made them, I have access to several
tools since I used to work on cars professionally. I even have my own
metal lathe and I have my own Mig welder with argon gas to weld
aluminum. That being said most of these projects can be made with
simple hand tools available at most hardware stores.
